It is something I would like to do too sooner or later!
My last but one post on my blog was about minis painted for a snowy environment!Lobohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18209251667521113762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7508476699784528212.post-37808161279873705332010-09-27T08:04:09.594-05:002010-09-27T08:04:09.594-05:00Thanks, Lobo! The terrain is extremely basic... the hills are just some 1/2" styrofoam packing material shaped with a Wonder Cutter, coated with $.50 mismatch paint from Home Depot and topped with sand from a local playground.

The baseboards are $.59/each vinyl floor tiles from Menards... no additional paint or texture whatsoever. I'm not sure I'd want to do a larger table that way, but they work fine for 2' x 2' or 3' x 3'.

My next project is going to be snow terrain. I made one demo hill over the weekend (it will be seen in a mid-week post as a Critical Mass Protolene test shot), and hope to have at least a 2' x 2' board finished by next week.Basement Gaming Bunkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10911750626360724788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7508476699784528212.post-9100189505934901012010-09-27T04:05:30.448-05:002010-09-27T04:05:30.448-05:00Very very very nice looking forces!!
